Ordered delivery for the first time trying it and wasn't disappointed. Never had Indian food before and wanted to try it. It was so good and the man that delivered was so nice!!! Can't wait to try more things!!!!!
Decent buffet restaurant. Enjoyed the buffet. The masala chai is a must try
Great and yummy food, I liked the ambience the place has, and the staff members were nice. I will definitely come back in the future.
Buffet has nice variety, but low spice levels
I celebrated my birthday this evening in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we had a astonishing evening and the place was indeed one of the reasons for the strong gathering. The waiters participated in a graceful style, the cooking was extremely good and my friends were extremely overjoyed. We shall no dout return for more joyful events. Thank you very much.
I've gotten take out here 3 times and each time it was fresh, healthy, and speedy. The dining room is nice and service is on point.
Tried the lunch buffet .. very tasty food .. all items were very well prepared.. would recommend this to any Indian cuisine lovers !!
Ordered mix grill, meat was tough and chicken drums were undercooked. Service was decent but food was a big let down on this occasion
One of my go-to places for a quick lunch. The food is good and the Lunch Buffet is very convenient for a fast turnaround. It's a casual atmosphere and family friendly. Parking is normally OK on main St (within a block of the venue). I recommend it.
The chicken tikka masala was excellent, but the naan bread left a little to be desired. Overall, very good.
I eat in this restaurant quite a bit! This is my favorite spot to have a bite. I visit this place frequently. The food is great, the staff is welcoming and the cost is reasonable. I like going in this place for a good dinner.
My absolute favorite Indian restaurant (and I've been to many). I live in Florida now and always make sure to come back to Tandoor whenever I'm visiting CT. Raj is so friendly and is really a sweet person and great businessman. I highly recommend the Navrattan Korma, although any good here is flavorful and worth trying. Added bonus: all you can eat lunch buffet for under $10.
One of my favorite Indian restaurants ever. While visiting from the other side of the country, I had to come here for a meal!
Really good food and lunch buffet. Nice waiter with a sexy watch. Ice cream was included and delicious. The door is not tan.
I order a decently large takeout order and came into the restaurant about 10 minutes earlier than the ETA given. I waited the appropriate time for the order and was given a free serving of rice pudding for the wait! The folks at Tandoor did not have to do that but they did. This was my first going there but it will not be my last! Service and food was great!
Went here for their brunch buffet, which is a great value. Their curries have a more dominant yogurt taste than I'm used to, which was different but enjoyable. They were very helpful getting me situated in a booth where I could plug in my laptop and use their WiFi. Classy interior. They were playing contemporary Bollywood tunes, which were more upbeat and energizing than the usual Indian music. I even heard a track that M.I.A. sampled 🤣
Nice Indian cuisine! Aloo morgh (potato chicken) and garlic bread also sag paneer and chicken marsala are the best!
I love eating there, very enjoyable and cheap and the buffet is perfect!
Delicious food, and everything is marked with vegetarian and gluten free indicators which was incredibly helpful for our group. Service was impeccable, and the dishes were just mouthwateringly good 😋
We arrived at this spot for dinner. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. the staff members were so friendly and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we shall definitely come back again. Recommended.
My observations-1. Food taste- below average on few items n very few items are just average. 2. Not worth the menu price, you always get Groupon coupon of $30 for $15.3. Ambience is good4. Weekend buffet is $10 and it is worth it. You can’t try all items in ala carte. So this is preferred.
I absolutely love this place! We drive 45 minutes just to go here because their food is always so good. And the service there is great, so friendly
We love eating out. Last night we visited this excellent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We passed a beautiful time there with fine dishes and a professional crew and an impressive chief cook. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we shall definitely come back very soon. Highly recommended.
For $10, the buffer is really good.. not the best Indian food I've had, but it's good. Tandoor Chicken on the Buffett is the best!
Great service and delicious food
I think it's one of the best Indian restaurant in Connecticut. The smell of curry and masalas invites you in, food and desserts look awesome and taste even better, service is friendly and quick. I felt they didn't have a lot variety, but everything in table was good.
I don't know if I should say it's "Americanized". The food was good but I ordered it hot. It was medium at best. At India's, in Denver, hot will make you sweat, this did not, but the flavor was excellent. I guess I wanted to sweat.
Went with a buddy after a movie, $10 for lunch buffet and friendly service. Can't be beat 👍👍
Food was delicious. Service a little slow but we will definitely come back.
